Movil vs. Tarjetas

Movil is our stand alone service for cell phones. It has an interstate rate of 5.5¢ per minute. The billing increment is 1 minute. To make a call you have to dial the access number to use it. This plan is available in Hawaii and Alaska. And the Tarjetas is our calling card service. It has an interstate rate of 9.9¢ per minute. It also has the same billing increment as the Movile plan of 1 minute.

Both of the plans offer a low international rate. There is a USF fee of 11.1% for interstate and international calls, plus the Federal tax of 3%. There is a payphone surcharge of 65¢ per call. There is no contract as to how long you need to stay on the plan and you get to have an option on how you want to be billed monthly. Both plans have 24 hour customer service.
